VF Corporation Bringing 500 Jobs to Colorado
Quality of life and talent pool among reasons for moving headquarters.
It only seemed fitting that the makers of North Face and Timberland made the decision to move it's headquarters to Denver. With over 300 days of sunshine and an outdoor lifestyle enjoyed all year long, employees of VF Corporation will enjoy the quality of life that awaits them.
VF Corporation will be consolidating four office into one when they make the move to Denver. It is not know how many of the current employees will make the move. According to the Colorado Office of Economic Development, just over 500 positions may become available to new employees. According to the initial press release for the move, 85 corporate employees will be making the move to Colorado.
Why Denver? "Because of its central location, its quality of life, its talent-laden workforce and its growing place in the epicenter of the American outdoor-recreation industry". - VF Leaders.
