USA Today report ranks Colorado's economy best in nation
According to a recent USA Today report, the state of Colorado ranks #1 in the nation for having the best economy. Largely in part to its employment growth of 2.4%, unemployment rate (2.7%) and GDP growth over the last five years. With the recent news of VF Corporation moving its headquarters to Denver in addition to the 32,000 new companies that have opened in the last four years, Colorado will continue to lead the economy pack.
Colorado's aerospace industry is leading the way, ranking #1 in private sector employment. The Denver Metro area's airport system has a $28 billion impact on the region and supports more than 195,000. Denver International Airports served over 61 million passengers in 2017 and is one of the worlds busiest airports.
With a 32.2% growth, the IT Industry in Colorado continues to attract a very talented high tech workforce. With a lifestyle second to none, over 300 days of sunshine and home to some of the nations tallest mountains, it's no wonder people are choosing the Centennial State as home.
