South Metro Denver Chamber TANK Event Raises Money for Non-Profits

Local non-profits in the South Metro Denver area pitch their programs or unique ideas to a panelist of "Sharks" in an effort to obtain funding.

The South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce held is annual TANK Event at the beautiful Lone Tree Arts Center on April 18th.  This unique event raises money for local non-profit chamber members.

In order to be included in the "SHARK" panel, local businesses committed to donating $250 to any one of the six (6) non-profits presenting.  Those non-profits were Arapahoe Philharmonic, Boy Scouts of America-Denver Area Council, The Butterfly Foundation, Christian Living Communities, Now I Lay My Down to Sleep and Developmental Pathways/SUN Foundation.  Each non-profit had a unique presentation on how they help serve the community.

At the end of the day, just under $16,000 was raised to help support non-profits in the South Metro Denver area.
