Coloradians can finally enjoy an In-N-Out Burger - animal style, but not anytime soon.  As reported by 9News, the popular southern California burger franchise is planning on building a "patty production facility" just south of Denver in Colorado Springs to help support future restaurants in this region.  In a statement given to KUSA - 9News, Carl Arena who serves as Vice President for the popular burger joint states, "Because we are in the early development phase, we don't yet have a timeline for the construction of either our support facilities or future restaurants.  However, the steps we are taking now represent the first of many on the road to serving customers in Colorado."

Founded 40 years ago, those who live in Colorado have to travel to Utah, Arizona, California, Texas or Oregon to enjoy a double double and a serving of freshly cut fries.  In a 2010 survey conducted by the Denver Business Journal, In-N-Out Burger ranked #2 on a wish list for readers, second behind Trader Joes (#1) and H&M (#3).  Both Trader Joes and H&M have both established locations in the Mile High City.  It is unclear on when the first restaurant will open, but one thing is for sure - it will open with long lines and happy customers!
