According to Zillow.com - the Denver housing market is one of the top ten housing markets in the US. Powered by increasing home values, limited inventory and job opportunities, the Denver Metro area sits in at #7. Here is a snap shot of the Denver housing market provided by the Denver Metro Association of Realtors.
Average Sale Price in December 2017 was $484,596, this is up from $477,911 in November 2017
Homes Sold in December came in at 4,231
YTD Homes sold in 2017 - 57,788 versus 56,142 in 2016
"The strong Denver housing market continued last year, however the lack of affordable inventory and the threat of rising interest rates could keep price appreciation in a more modest range in 2018. The key issues I see is that there is a lot of inventory in the $750,000 plus range, but with the new tax changes and the limited audience for these homes, the market for the higher priced homes will slow down in 2018" Tammy Zink, Zink Properties
