Denver leads the race in hourly wages

Moving to Denver offers many opportunities when it comes to finding a job. According to a recent study conducted by Paychex, Denver is the leader in hourly wages for small businesses, averaging $30.04. The study included companies with fewer than 50 employees and measured national employment and wage trends. Nationally, hourly wages increased by 2.33 percent.
Three leading industries that are experiencing increasese in hourly wages are Hospitality & Leisure, Construction and Transportation and Trade.
